Heat Return With The Sepia Tinged and Euphoric Lush

Heat first caught people's attention in 2015 with a clamour of support from high profile blogs like Noisey, The FADER and Clash Magazine and they’re finally ready to release their debut album, Overnight, due on January 20th 2016 on the prestigious Topshelf Records. They’ve also premiered the debut single from the album, ‘Lush’, which you can stream below. The band said that the recording process was “a rocky road”, but judging by the strength of ‘Lush’ they’ve come out the other side stronger than ever. It’s a sepia tinged alt-rock banger that sees the Montreal post-punks embracing a more pop influenced sound. As the layered guitars on the chorus kick in you find yourself getting completely lost before being picked up by the fuzzy vocals and catchy hook. It’s a great return from Heat and highlights the potential Overnight has to see them really breakthrough.
