The weekend has come early! The Clapton Cowboys are back with a tease of their new E.P Runt of the Glitter by sharing their new single Silver Club.

Inspired for their combined love for Spaghetti Western, the band have blended the cowboy strut with elements of contemporary pop. Surf guitar lines reminiscent of Dick Dale gives way to a subtle pop chorus. Those eager Creatures fans will have the original pressing of title track Creatures which was available on vinyl on the merch table for their tour with Temples, but understandably they got swept up quick, so quick that the band have decided to rerecord the track for the E.P, a homage to the early days. Speaking of the record Creatures state, “Recorded in various places such as Hackney Road Studios, Wigwam HQ and Studio Voltaire this record was a labour of love for us and we were able to make it in our own time meaning we’re really proud of the tracks and how they’ve evolved.”

Listen to Silver Club below.
