BL Premiere: Stream Yo No Se's debut album Soma

Damn, we are excited for this one. It's been a while coming for Yo No Se (and us, being so eager to hear it) but we are beyond stoked to be sharing the premiere of their debut record, Soma. Get ready for your face to be melted.

Released by our favourites Stolen Body Records, Soma, is a loud, ferocious and heavy record. In their own words, "Soma deals with the idea of the wool covering our eyes and embracing those very moments." The band was formed from Bristol bands The Bad Joke That Ended Well and Factotum, drawing influence from 70s rock to grunge via psychedelia and prog. The record is an absolute beast. While it's hard to miss the influences of Black Sabbath and Nirvana, Soma is a beautifully unique creation. It seems wrong to not give a shout out to Bristol's favourite Malthouse Studios where Dominc Mitchison recorded the debut, whilst the mastering was done by grunge godfather Jack Endino who is part of the mastermind behind Nirvana's Bleach and Soundgarden's Screaming Life.

Turn this up really, really loud and do your neighbours a favour. Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present Soma by Yo No Se which is out via Stolen Body Records on 27th October.
