Run The Jewels air their new track for Adult Swim "Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)

Run the Jewels appear to be making good on their promise that any new material will be "the hardest shit you've ever heard" with their latest track, Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite). Made for the documentary-film Rubble Kings, which explores the gangs of 70s New York and their connection to the evolution of hip-hop, it's also the penultimate release in Adult Swim's Single series, alongside cuts from an eclectic roster including Slayer, Peaches and Danny Brown - all the tracks can be downloaded for free through the link. Rubble Kings Theme has the duo bouncing over a jittery industrial beat built upon slabs of gritty percussion, with Killer Mike delivering bars like an apocalyptic postman and El-P whirs into overdrive with a new-found energy.

Run the Jewels have also recently rejigged their 2nd album to create Meow the Jewels, the crowd-funded product of a stoned joke by El-P that sees guest producers re-envisioning the album's instrumentals with only cat noises at their disposal.
