Morrissey has finished his first novel "List of the Lost"

Following up from the singer's autobiography released in October 2013, Morrissey has announced that he has finished writing his debut novel and it is titled "List of the Lost". Moz's True To You confirmed that the book will be available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa. The full statement is as follows:

"Morrissey's first novel, List of the Lost, will be published by Penguin Books (UK) at the end of September. The book will be issued in softcover/paperback as a New Fiction title, and comes almost two years after Morrissey's very successful Autobiography publication of October 2013. Penguin Books will confirm an on sale date within this coming week. List of the Lost will be available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa."

Morrissey's autobiography was released via Penguin Books two years ago and last year stated that he was "mid-way through" his first novel. In the meantime, ex-band mate Johnny Marr announced earlier this year that his autobiography will be released in Autumn 2016.
