introducing... The Japanese House

Winter is approaching. There’s fog on the grass outside, it’s getting darker earlier and soon we will have to wear our thick socks. Fortunately, The Japanese House is producing music that is brooding with melancholic beauty and will transport you to a state of bliss. With every song you listen to you realise that the 19-year-old, Amber Bain, is blossoming quickly. Bain’s debut E.P, Pools To Bathe In, is a new take on pop, proving itself to be pure and clean. Despite working with Matt Healy and George Daniel (The 1975) in the studio, Pools To Bathe In is Bain’s imagination colliding with synths and graceful vocals to create an exciting, yet calming collection of work. Listen to Clean below.
