BL Premiere: Ghost King share new single Buzzin'
On this glorious day we have another Bad Luck Magazine premiere to be sharing with you, hot off from the press from Brooklyn, NY.
We’re delighted to be sharing with you the brand new single from Ghost King titled Buzzin’, released on Mind Altar Records. The band, formed by Carter McNeil, a New Yorker returning to this city after spending years in Texas, have just released their new LP Dunbar Swamp. With a fresh line up consisting Noga Davidson on bass and Pete Spengemen on guitar, Buzzin’ is a glimpse into the wonders of the bands grungy record. Fuzzy bluesy riffs gives way to an overall sense of doom, perfected with Davidson’s slow and sludgy bass line. There’s really no way of escaping alive from Ghost King’s wrath.
Speaking of the record, McNeil says, “Dunbar Swamp is a record about self discovery. It’s a journey through the dark chasms of your mind while lost in a seemingly endless dream. It’s about insanity, fear of death and ultimately it’s about finding yourself and finding hope in what may lay ahead.”
